Lithuanian transport, accommodation, services companies' revenue drop 8% in Q2
Transport and storage companies' revenue dropped by 11.2% quarter-on-quarter to 2.6 billion euros (at current prices).
Travel agency, tour operator, reservation service and related activities saw their quarterly revenue plunge by 57% due to coronavirus quarantine restrictions.
The second-quarter statistics show revenue declines of 47.9% for accommodation businesses, 26% for motion picture, video and television program production, sound recording and music publishing activities, and 22.9% for arts, entertainments and recreation.
Air carriers posted a 22.2% drop in revenue, and land transport services and transport services via pipelines recorded declines of 12.8% and 13%, respectively.
Service companies saw their second-quarter revenue go down by 6.3% to 3 billion euros.
Some sectors registered revenue growth, however, including computer programming, consultancy and related services (10.2%), and real estate activities (8%).
