Flipkart Republic Day Sale: Massive discount on Google Pixel 2 XL; check out the price

Flipkart is offering a massive discount on smartphones in various categories in it’s three-day Republic Day sale. Touted as one of the best smartphones of 2017, Google Pixel 2 XL has got a massive price cut from Rs 73,000 to Rs 48,999 during the sale. The 64 GB Pixel 2 XL variant will be available at a drastically lower price after a flat discount of Rs 11000, a Rs 10,000 cashback for those who purchase the phone using an HDFC bank credit card and an additional Rs 3,000 off as a bonus exchange benefit. This makes Pixel 2 XL have a net effective price of Rs 48,999 which is Rs 24000 less than its original price. You can further slash up to ₹18,000 from the Pixel 2 XL’s price if you exchange your old smartphone during the sales period. The exchange price varies according to your existing phone. Additionally, Flipkart is offering a buyback guarantee of ₹28,500 if buyers exchange their smartphone in the future.

The Google 2 XL features a 6-inch QHD+ display and derives its processing power from the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 64-bit Octa-Core Processor. The phone has dual cameras with a 12.2MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The phone is powered with a 3520 mAh battery, whereas Android Oreo 8.1 manages the things on the software side.

Other than a 5-inch full-HD display and a 2700mAh battery, there is no other difference in Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. This is not the first time that both the Pixel 2 variants are available at discounted rates.

The smartphones were up for grabs with a price tag as low as Rs 39,999 from Flipkart in December. The ‘Made by Google’ smartphone was launched a couple of months back in October 2017. For a price point of just ₹48,999, Google Pixel 2 XL comes as a great buy providing the best smartphone experience.
