    ThoughtWorks expands to Mumbai with new office

    MUMBAI: Software consultancy ThoughtWorks announced a new office in Mumbai to cater to its BFSI clientele. The company intends to accelerate engagements with Indian Business Houses (IBHs) by offering digital and data management capabilities and solutions in areas like artificial intelligence and machine learning for fintech businesses through the new Centre of Excellence. The company is already present in Pune with an employee strength of 250 people.

    ThoughtWorks’ Mumbai office will be located at the Hiranandani Business Park in Powai. The company said it will also invest in high intensity training and programmes for its employees. The Mumbai center will initially be supported by ThoughtWorks’ Pune office, with plans to further expand its workforce in the city.

    This addition takes the total number of the company’s India offices to seven, with the other six spread across Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Pune. The company has 40 offices across 14 countries overall.
