NEW FACE IN GOP POLITICS? A Manchester tech entrepreneur is being urged to run for the District 16 state Senate seat, and he’s giving it serious consideration.
Republican sources say Jason Syversen is being “heavily recruited by GOP leaders and activists.”
He has an inspiring story, the sources say.
Syversen is a former computer network operations specialist with BAE Systems who later founded Siege Technologies, in Manchester’s Millyard, and is currently managing partner at 10X Venture Partners of Manchester, an investment firm that calls itself “New Hampshire’s most active angel group.”
According to his online biography, he is the founding member of three cyber technology companies and a board member, investor and adviser for several other firms.
District 16 is now represented by Democratic Sen. Kevin Cavanaugh and includes Manchester wards 1, 2 and 12 and the towns of Hooksett, Bow, Dunbarton and Candia.
