Covid vaccine: Software for 2nd dose ready, says Telangana health minister Eatala Rajender

HYDERABAD: Health minister Eatala Rajender held a review meeting with senior officials of the department on the steps being taken in Telangana in the wake of global concerns due to the new type of virus strain. During the meeting, plans on transportation, storage and distribution of the vaccine were also reviewed.
The minister said that full arrangements are being made to provide vaccine to the people.
“Ten thousand vaccinators are being trained. Each could give vaccine jab to one hundred people per day,” an official statement from the minister’s office said.
The minister added that the software for administering second dose 28 days after administering the first dose is ready as well. The minister directed officials to to procure 11 CTR scans and 3 MRI machines.
