Insurance Association donates computer for police traffic dep’t

Minister of Home Affairs, Robeson Benn, yesterday received a donation of a Computer System from the Insurance Association of Guyana (IAG), for the Guyana Police Force Traffic Department.

Benn, according to a release from the ministry, expressed thanks to the IAG for what he said is a timely donation with respect to aiding the accurate compilation of statistics. He said that this will allow for improved safety on the roads.

The Computer System was handed over by Roger Yee, President of the Insurance Association of Guyana and Melissa DeSantos, CEO of Demerara Mutual Insurance.
