22-yr-old nabbed from Rajasthan in sextortion racket

The Cyber Crime police nabbed a 22-year-old from Bharatpur in Rajasthan for extorting Rs 2.69 crore from a Navrangpura businessman by luring him in a sex video and blackmailing him by claiming they are cops.
Talim Tahir Khan of Meena Mohalla in Chandupura village of Gopalgadh district in Rajasthan was detained and Rs 1.17 crore along with two mobile phones were seized from him. Cyber crime PSI Kusum Parmar and PSI B P Desai arrested Talim after a five-day operation. Parmar conducted a recce and stayed close to the village for four days and monitored the suspect’s movements before nabbing him. Crime branch ACP J M Yadav told Mirror, “It is tough to nab suspects from the villages as the villagers assault policemen and help the suspects escape. We had to wait until the suspect moved out of the village to make our move.” Talim Khan is just Class 11 pass and the only language he knows is Hindi.AM
