TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Traveling abroad often requires a visa in addition to a passport. However, certain countries possess a powerful passport that enables their citizens to travel without a visa; Australia is one of them.

While Singapore’s passport takes the crown, again, for being the world’s most powerful passport in 2025, holders of Australian passports enjoy comparable benefits: access to approximately 189 travel destinations. Regardless, several others still require visa-on-arrival and Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

For more information, check out the full list of visa-free countries for Australian passport holders below, including visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and eTA countries, citing the Henley Passport Index and Passport Index.
