Meghan Markle's Netflix team has revealed what it was really like working with the With Love, Meghan star. The former royal, 43, has divided fans with her latest offering on the streaming platform, with many bashing the former Suits actress for 'whittering on about nothing' - and her own father accusing her of being "unauthentic".
Chatting in her palatial kitchen with stars including, actress, Mandy Kaling, Meghan shares her tips for cooking kimchi and "quickles" - as well as making ice cubes: "Don't use tap water or you won't see the edible flower..."
The show has now been renewed for a second series by Netflix despite reports Meghan is difficult to work with. However, lifting the lid of their experience of filming with the influencer, one of the Netflix crew members has praised Prince Harry's wife, saying they were surprised by how 'seen' she made them feel.

One unnamed staffer explained that she laid on a coffee station in the morning and had ice-cream and shaved ice brought in for crew. They said: "She made sure everyone felt included, from Netflix executives to our director to every PA on set. No one was left out."
Speaking to People, he added: "Most of the time, we’re expected to fade into the background, to be invisible. But in this show, we were part of it. We were included. It was a very unique and refreshing experience.”
Giving her take on filming the show, Meghan told the outlet, “It feels as though we’re just spending time together, which is what it ended up being. “I’d make a recipe and say, ‘Everyone try this,’ and there are certain dishes where you just watch everyone flock in. I’d say, ‘We’ve run out of spoons!’ It ended up feeling so communal, and that’s the spirit of the show.”
In an interview with The Mail, Thomas Markle didn't mince words when asked about Meghan's Netflix venture. "Unfortunately, Meghan has never been authentic. She has to think about everything. She's not spontaneous," he said, suggesting that his daughter carefully plans her every move.
He continued: "Everything she says is pre-planned and rehearsed. It makes me laugh because I know all her looks and expressions. I know when she's faking it for the cameras. She's trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up every time the camera is on her."
Meghan, who has a legion of loyal fans, who love her lifestyle show, was accused of treating her staff poorly when she was senior working royal before she hot-footed it stateside. The Duchess of Sussex has been forced to deny bullying allegations, which were initially made by former royal aide Jason Knauf four years ago. He suggested she reduced staffers to tears when she lived at Kensington Palace.
However, other members of Meghan's team leapt to her defence, with one telling Us Weekly, Harry and Meghan were the “best bosses I have ever had".
