MaGerk’s Pub & Grill in Langhorne’s Summit Square is now open.

The restaurant started welcoming customers through its doors Thursday, according to a post on its Facebook page.

"(First) bar guests and 1st table means we are officially OPEN! Can’t wait to meet the Langhorne community!" the social media post stated.

Known for its expansive menu of hearty bar-fare favorites, MaGerk’s offers a casual sports-themed atmosphere with plenty of seating and a 5,000-square-foot patio where friends, family and large group members can meet over shared plates, drinks and dishes.

MaGerk's is taking over the space previously occupied by Manny Brown's in the Summit Square Shopping Center in Middletown.

It joins a number of other Summit Square restaurants and retailers, including Giant, David Craig Jewelers, Rite Aid, Newtown Camera, Tre Fratelli, Mount Fuji, Qdoba Mexican Eats, Pure Green Juice and Smoothie, Manhattan Bagel, Moish & Itzy’s and Happy Mixer Bakery.

What is MaGerk’s Pub & Grill?

According to its website, MaGerk’s was founded in 2000 by John and Paul Dolaway beginning with their flagship restaurant in Baltimore. They've since expanded with a food truck and five more locations across Maryland, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, including one in Horsham and another in Fort Washington.

The two started the pub with a mission to serve up the best Philly cheesesteaks, touting their “freshly delivered rolls with a crispy outside and soft inside, perfectly complementing the steak and cheese” as the secret to their success.

In addition to Langhorne marking the restaurant’s Bucks County debut, MaGerk’s is also in the works of opening a third Montgomery County location in Royersford.

Applications are being accepted for various positions — including servers, bartenders, hosts, cooks, managers, dishwashers, barbacks and food runners — at each of the locations.

The menu features large selection of appetizers, wings, nachos, soups, salads, sides, entrees, sandwiches, burgers, kid-friendly options and desserts. Here are a few of the offerings:
