The Northern Rockies will remain cool and showery today and Tuesday, with precipitation increasing during the afternoon. While snow levels may drop to valley floors, road impacts should remain minimal since most showers will occur during the day.

A brief break in precipitation is expected Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure moves through. However, another disturbance arriving Thursday will bring widespread precipitation, continuing an active weather pattern into the weekend.
