Police have issued an appeal after a woman was intimidated, spat on, and spoken to aggressively by a man. Dyfed-Powys Police said the woman was walking home on a footpath between Princess Royal Way and Haverfordwest Bowling Club when the incident occurred.

The alleged assault took place at around 11pm on Thursday, January 23. The police have described the man as being white, in his late 20s or early 30s, between 6ft and 6ft 4in tall, and with broad shoulders and a slim waist. He subsequently headed in the direction of St Thomas a Becket Churchyard

A force spokesman added: "He has tattoos on both arms with a black tribal tattoo on his left forearm. This tattoo is described as appearing to have a sun contained within it. At the time of the incident the male was wearing a light blue T-shirt and light grey joggers." Don’t miss a court report by signing up to our crime newsletter here.
