What Are The Seven Stages Of Grief?
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Chantel Bellew, a gifted dancer who made it to the quarter-finals of Britain's Got Talent, has died. She was 34.

The professional dancer's family have made a GoFundMe to pay for her services, on which they also paid tribute to the late star.

"It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Chantel," reads the page.

"Chantel was more than a daughter, wife, sister, niece, cousin and friend," it continues. "She was a kind, loving, and passionate spirit who brought joy and laughter to so many. Chantel was a talent second to none who was the life and soul of every party, I am sure you will agree she was a character that nobody will ever forget."

They vow to "give Chantel the showbiz farewell she deserves."

After explaining that they are raising money for the funeral, the grieving family then promises, "All remaining funds will then be donated to www.mind.org.uk to provide support to others that might be suffering with mental health."

Bellew competed on the reality TV mega-hit in 2019. During one moment shared on her Instagram, the show's hosts — Anthony McParlin and Declan Donnelly or "Aunt & Dec" — were visibly stunnedwhile Bellew was on the BGT stage.

The dancer, who worked on projects all over the U.K., even showed Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke — an extremely high-level ballroom dancer — some tap dance moves. She also memorialized the experience on her Instagram in 2019. "Great Day teaching Anton Du Beke some Tap today," she captioned the post. Du Beke commented, "We'd be delighted if you need a private lesson—much love."
