GAYLORD ― For the past few years, the spring in Gaylord has been reserved for the softball season.
Back-to-back state championship runs for Gaylord and Johannesburg-Lewiston's trip to the Division 4 state semifinals in 2023 has given Otsego County a reputation as a softball hotbed, and teams are hoping to keep that perception alive and well in 2025. Gaylord and reigning Gatorade Softball Player of the Year Aubrey Jones are hoping to go for a three-peat, JoBurg is hoping to continue its reign at the top of the Ski Valley Conference and Gaylord St. Mary is looking to join their area counterparts and their winning ways.
Games are set to begin in less than a week, with GHS kicking things off on April 1. Here is a complete schedule list for the 2025 season and, as the season continues, check back for updates on cancelations and make-up dates.
