The Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders could be just around the corner as the Nintendo Switch Direct next week will show off all the new and shiny things we can expect from the new console. Yesterday, Nintendo's Direct showed off a new Tomodachi Life game in the works, more Metroid Prime 4 gameplay and even a new Nintendo app that will probably have use for when the Nintendo Switch 2 launches.

For Pokemon fans, Pokemon Legends Z-A showed off even more gameplay during the direct. The trailer explains Lumiose City and its current structure, highlighting the story and how its Wild Zones work.

In the lead up to the launch, Very will give Switch shoppers up to £210 to trade in your old Nintendo Switch console or another device to use with the current OLED switch.

The trailer announces the Z-A Royale, a harder twist on the game when night falls and trainers wait for them in Wild Zones. If you need to farm XP, it looks like the nighttime is the right time to do it. The game is set to arrive in Late 2025.

April 2 will hopefully reveal everything Nintendo Switch 2 with plenty of gaming fans set to clammer to buy the device. But if you have been looking for places to save money, Very might be a great place to consider.

For a limited time, Very will give you £210 to trade in your old Nintendo Switch console or another device to use with the current OLED switch - or you could save it for when pre-orders open for the Nintendo Switch 2. We're still unsure who or what retailers will sell the new Switch console, but we're almost certain Very will be up there.

If you don't care about getting the newest console on the market, this Nintendo Switch OLED might be worth picking up. Be warned however because the Nintendo Switch is starting to show its age since being released in 2017 and Nintendo has said some games will be exclusive to the Switch 2 later on in the year.

But if you want to shop elsewhere, The Game Collection is a great place to get consoles and games for a great price. It is selling games for 5 per cent off for payday with the code PAYDAY5OFF if you have been looking for a new game to jump on. There's also some great PS5 bundles you can pick up here.

But if you don't really care too much about the Nintendo Switch, you can also trade in your old consoles or devices for the PS5 Pro, which Very has for £689. Very's trade-in can be super convenient if you have an old console and don't want to spend the full amount on newer devices or consoles.
