Formax has added the new ColorMax9 HP Pigment Inkjet Envelope Printer to its ColorMax Digital Print Lineup. This new addition produces brilliant color, and can print up to 10,000 #10 envelopes per hour.
Driven by an intelligent synchronized feeder and registration system, the ColorMax9 reliably produces accurate landscape prints to maximize output capability. Featuring durable, water-resistant HP pigment-based ink, the system is designed to handle variable data and full-color graphics in a single pass.
The ColorMax9 is available in three configurations with options including a 3-foot output conveyor, sturdy workbench, and the CCS9 Command Station featuring a free-standing workstation, PC, and 32” curved monitor.
The system includes a high-capacity intelligent belt feeder for accuracy, especially in landscape mode. Other user-friendly features include an intuitive 7” color touchscreen with provides control over the entire process including image preview, system status, and access to up to 64 GB of stored print jobs.
Using HP print technology with vibrant pigment-based ink which resists fading, scratches, and water damage, it offers full-color 1,200x1,200 dpi printing on envelopes and a variety of mailing and packaging materials. Its wide print area and digital thickness control allow for media applications up to 1/2” thick and 15” wide.
With a long-life print system, rugged steel/aluminum construction, the ColorMax9 is quiet, fast, and economical for a quick return on investment, with the low cost-per-print standard that is fundamental to the ColorMax line.
