LUDINGTON, MI – This summer street party is the ultimate, energy filled summer kick off with music, bounce houses, food and more – and it’s just the start of a weekend of festivities.
Love Ludington Weekend is scheduled for June 6-8, starting with the street party on Friday in the middle of the beach town’s downtown, which is walking distance from Lake Michigan.
“This event will be full of energy with live music, kids’ games, bounce houses, food, drinks and more,” according to Downtown Ludington.
The festival also includes the Blessing of the Boats beach party and a beach cleanup event.

The high-energy Love Ludington Street Party will get the festivities started. The event is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 6, on portions of Ludington Avenue and James Street. The evening will include kids’ games, food and drinks, a car show, bounce houses and live music from American Ages Band.
The Blessing of the Boats is scheduled for 5-10 p.m. Saturday at the west end of Ludington Avenue near Stearns Park Beach. The event includes an entertainment tent, raffle, food truck vendors and beer sales. There will be live music by Electric Flower, Tom Zatarga and Defiance County.
Wrapping up the weekend is the beach cleanup at 1 p.m. Sunday at Stearns Park Beach. Volunteers will receive two passes to climb the Ludington North Breakwater Light, normally $8 each. Meet at the west end of Ludington Avenue.
