There are tributes and then there are tributes this week. Sixteen Connecticut bands gather to perform the songs of local music scene legend James Velvet. The live concert is a release party for a CD on which those and many other bands play his songs.

Jobimfest 2025 is a live tribute to the brilliant Brazilian composer and musician Antonio Carlos Jobim.

Ivoryton Playhouse is opening its 2025 season with a jukebox musical about Hank Williams, stocked with all his biggest hits.
