WALES head coach Sean Lynn urged his side to ‘keep believing’ after they were dismantled 67-12 by England in Cardiff.

The Six Nations champions flexed their muscles in front of a 21,000 crowd at Principality Stadium with a 22nd successive Test win.

Red Roses full-back Ellie Kildunne scored a hat-trick and there were other scores for number eight Maddie Feaunati (2), centre Meg Jones, prop Sarah Bern, Abby Dow (2) and Abi Burton (2).

Prop Jenni Scoble and flanker Kate Williams scored tries for Wales – scrum-half Keira Bevan landed one conversion – but there was no disguising the gulf in class as England marched on.

“You are playing against the world’s best,” said Lynn, whose tenure started with a narrow loss in Scotland.

“Not many sides in the world can have 13 changes, and full respect to England for coming here with a full-strength squad.

“I thought our attack worked really well. It is about keeping believing, keeping moving forward and we are all in this together.”

England boss John Mitchell said: “Wales got in front of us at the start and then we were able to grow our way back into the match.

“At times we were outstanding and there were times when we were still a little bit inconsistent around our basics.”

Next up for Wales is another daunting encounter against France on Saturday, April 12.

They welcome Ireland to Rodney Parade on Sunday, April 20 before finishing in Italy the following Saturday.
