Kai Taylor Asks For Curtis’ Ashford’s Opinion
Across town, General Hospital recaps for Thursday’s show reveal that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) asks for a few minutes of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) time to discuss the offer that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has made him.
There is a chance that Kai is a candidate for surgery that might allow him to play football again. Drew has offered to pay for it, and Kai is unsure whether or not he should take him up on the offer.
Curtis puts his personal feelings about Drew aside and suggests that Kai visit his wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), for a second opinion. Kai thinks that is a great idea, and leaves to go and see Portia.
Curtis then calls Drew and asks to see him. When Drew arrives, Curtis tells him to leave Kai alone. He has already been through enough and doesn’t need to be manipulated by the congressman.
CarJack Discuss Trust Over Lunch
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) just had a chat with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and returns to the table that he is sharing with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at the Metro Court.
She tries to insist that their conversation must have been about her, even though it wasn’t. Jack tells her that she is going to need to trust him and to understand that when he says something is about the WSB he cannot tell her more than that.
She seems to agree, but it’s clear that this kind of discussion will be revisited often with these two. Carly noticed at a table nearby that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) are getting to know each other.
After Marco and Jack have both left, she slides in to learn about the handsome man that Lucas was with.
Nearby, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is meeting with ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor), who is on a fishing expedition for information about Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and the reason she was expelled from college in California.
She says that she is wondering because of her relationship to the police commissioner, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Turner gets nowhere with Trina, who makes a quick exit.
Drew Cain Threatens Portia Robinson (Who Then Threatens Brad Cooper)
Drew storms into Portia’s office at GH and threatens her over Curtis’ actions with Aurora. He is holding her accountable for how Curtis treats him in the press, and threatens to blow up her world if she doesn’t get Curtis to back up.
Drew storms out, and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) waltzes in, thinking that he still has leverage over Portia.
He quickly finds out that Drew is now blackmailing her, so he is no longer a threat. She threatens to fire Brad, who begs to keep his job. She realizes that keeping him around will serve her better when she needs a favor.
Portia tells Brad to leave when Kai knocks on her door. He explains that Curtis sent him to ask for her opinion on the surgery in question. Portia says that she’ll look into it and get back to him.
Josslyn Jacks Catches Something Shady At A Coffee Shop
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has the afternoon off from WSB training and decides to check out a local coffee shop. She walks in and finds Vaughn already there, talking to a woman.
She asks if she is interrupting, and he tells her to sit. They make small talk and he gets up to get them both a croissant. As he turns from the counter, he dumps the plate, and the woman slips him an envelope beneath it.
Joss follows him back to headquarters and is about to ask him about it when Jack walks in. Vaughn tells Jack that he is tired of training people and wants a new assignment.
Jack tells him that his screw up in Romania means he can’t work in the field. Joss overhears everything and tells Jack exactly what she witnessed earlier.

Lastly, General Hospital recaps for Thursday state that Sonny arrives at Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) with many questions. He tells him that the hired guy who firebombed his penthouse worked regularly in Africa, just like Sidwell, and he is wondering if there is a connection.
Sidwell insists that not only is he not connected, but that he wants to be on good terms with Sonny. He says that in order for his business to thrive in Port Charles, he needs to be on good terms with the status quo, meaning Sonny.
Sidwell then offers to help him to figure out who blew up his home, which Sonny declines.
After Sonny leaves, Natalia Ramierz (Eva La Rue) steps back into the room to continue the fight with her ex-husband. In the middle of it there is another knock at the door, and it’s Marco, their son.
