Teen who sold drugs using Harry Potter house elf Dobby as an alias and left female cyclist seriously injured in car crash is jailed

A teenager who sold drugs using his Harry Potter house elf Dobby mask and who left a woman seriously injured after running her over has been jailed.

Lewis Breen-Ledger, 19, went under the name 'Dobby's Packs' on Instagram and Snapchat, where he offered a 'menu of different drugs'.

He also advertised 24/7 collections for his customers as well as postal deliveries to various locations.

Police raided the 19-year-old's home on May 30 last year and seized hundreds of pounds of cash, cocaine, cannabis, ketamine, scales and three zombie knives.

They found a rubber mask and figurine in the style of the Dobby character from Harry Potter.

Breen-Ledger was arrested before being released on bail while police conducted further enquiries.

This did not deter him from carrying on drug dealing, and he rebranded his social media account to 'Highland Exotics' and continued selling drugs.

After finding this out, police carried out a second search at his home in Halesowen, West Midlands, and seized a mobile phone and cannabis.

The 19-year-old admitted to all drugs offences and was jailed for four-and-a-half years at Birmingham Crown Court last Thursday

He was also sentenced for two unrelated driving offences.

The first was causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a woman in her 60s was run over on her bicycle on October 19, 2022.

He was also sentenced for causing serious injury by careless driving after a man in his 50s was hit while crossing a road in Rowley Regis, West Midlands.

Detective Sergeant Adam Buzzard, from West Midlands Police County Lines Taskforce, said: 'Our investigation discovered Breen-Ledger had been supplying class A and class B drugs since he was 16 years old.

'He showed a brazen disregard for the law, maintaining his drug dealing whilst on police bail.

'We will continue to pursue criminals harming our communities through drug supply and they will be brought to justice.'
