Judge KSI is reduced to a shaking mess on tomorrow night's Britain Got Talent when he is tied up, blindfolded and tormented on stage by a mysterious figure. The YouTube star is brought on to the stage by a cloaked act, who starts to tease him with private details of past loves before presenting him with his biggest fear - bugs.

Judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tunioli and the Blackpool crowd are on the edge of their seats as KSI is left squealing with fear as he’s blindfolded, thinking he is about to be covered in creepy crawlies. But then it’s revealed to everyone else but KSI it’s just a prank, with the masked person instead tickling him with a feather duster.

Speaking after the stunt, terrified KSI said he had no idea it was about to happen. “I was blind to it all,” he insisted. “When I got pulled up on stage, I just thought, ‘Here we go. How is he going to torment me?’

“He gets me up on stage and he mentions a girl I was involved with years ago, no one really knows about her, only a specific few people do.” In the dark about who it could be, KSI said he thought it was a mind magician.

“There’s this guy I’ve seen who goes to different artists, like musicians, and he interviews them and he's able to say things to them that no one knows,” he explains. “He's able to just do stuff like that and everyone's always there, like, ‘how do you know that? Who's told you that? This is crazy. Like, no one should know this’. So I was thinking it was something similar to that.

“This guy is gonna just say things that no one should know. I was tripping balls! I couldn't believe it. And then he gets bugs out, that’s a genuine fear of mine.” KSI, 31, revealed he even turned down I’m A Celebrity because of his phobia.

“There's no way in hell, because I can't deal with bugs. I'm fine with snakes and stuff, but in terms of actual bugs, the idea of it just scares me. I do not like bugs at all so that reaction was real.

“I already know I'm gonna get clowned on memes. That is going viral and is what it is, I just have to take it!” He vowed: “I will get payback on The Tormentor!”

KSI is a new addition to this series of BGT, standing in as a guest judge for Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell.

He hit his golden buzzer for supermarket worker Stacey Leadbeatter, who blew him away with cover of Snow Patrol’s Run.

An influencer, professional boxer, and musician, KSI - who’s real name is Olajide Olatunji - is also a multimillionaire thanks to his business ventures, including drinks brand Prime Hydration. Born in Watford, he’s regarded as one of the most influential online creators in the UK.

Watch Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday on ITV at 7pm.
