Andy Carroll planning to marry girlfriend Lou - 'I can't wait for Billie divorce'

Former Premier League striker Andy Carroll is 'madly in love' with celebrity make-up artist Lou Teasdale as he makes a fresh start with his divorce from Billi Mucklow near

Footballer Andy Carroll is close to popping the question to his girlfriend months on from the collapse of his marriage, it has been claimed.

Last summer, Andy and TOWIE star Billi Mucklow split two years after getting hitched before he quickly grew close to One Direction’s former makeup artist Lou Teasdale. Things are going well for the couple and now it has been suggested he already wants her to be his wife.

The dad-of-five is getting on "really well" with Lou and he thinks she could be the one. Making a fresh start, Lou has been a regular visitor to Andy's home in Bordeaux, where he now plays for the French club. Things are heating up between the ex-Liverpool striker and the make-up artist who worked on the X Factor and Britain's Got Talent and has remained close to singer Harry Styles.

“Andy is very close to proposing to Lou - they are madly in love," a source told The Sun. "She is spending as much time as she can with him in France and Andy has never been happier. He's been telling friends his divorce can’t come quick enough. Lou is exactly what he needs because she is a calming influence on him and it's noticeable the change she's had on him to everyone around them.”

Andy and Billi were together for 11 years and they almost didn't walk down the aisle after Andy's antics on his stag do in Dubai. He was pictured with two women in his bed as he lay passed out. After photos were posted on social media, Billi removed her £200,000 engagement ring and moved out of their Essex home.

The reality star only forgave the footballer after Taylor Jane Wilkey, who was one of the women in the bed, insisted that nothing had happened and that Andy had acted very gentlemanly towards them. She apologised for the photos and insisted the two never had sex.

Andy and Billi were engaged in 2014 and tied the knot at a ceremony in June 2022, at the five-star Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire. At the time of the scandal, a friend of Billi said: “The wedding cemented their love and marks the start of a new beginning.” The pair have three children aged nine, six, and four. Andy also has two children, aged 15, and 14, from a previous relationship.

Last year, Lou was linked to SAS: Who Dares Wins star Jay Morton. They were believed to have been in a relationship after the pair were spotted looking cosy at Coachella festival in 2022. However their split "wasn't amicable". At the time, Lou, who has a daughter Lux from a previous relationship with singer Tom Atkin, jetted off to Mexico to celebrate New Year with her pals. She took to Instagram to share how 2022 was the “most horrible year” as she shared snaps of her sunning herself with friends.
