Rosamond Gifford Zoo hosts Egg-stravaganza event this Sunday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Rosamond Gifford Zoo is hosting a fun Easter-themed event this weekend.

The Rosamond Gifford Zoo is inviting the public to an early Easter celebration with its Egg-stravaganza event on Sunday, April 13. From 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to watch as animal care team members provide egg-themed enrichment items to the animals.

The Egg-stravaganza will be held at various exhibits throughout the zoo. The event is free for zoo members or included with the price of zoo admission.

• 11 a.m. Siamang Apes– Social Animals Building
• 11:30 a.m. Red Panda – Wildlife Trail
• 12 p.m. Red River Hogs – Wildlife Trail
• 12:30 p.m. Meerkats & Cape Porcupine – Social Animals Building
• 1 p.m. Komodo Dragon – Social Animals Wing
• 1:30 p.m. Andean Bear – Wildlife Trail
• 2 p.m. Asian Elephants – Helga Beck Asian Elephant Preserve
• 2:30 p.m. Markhor – Wildlife Trail
