Roger Williams Park Zoo announced the opening of a dinosaur exhibit this week.

According to officials, the "Return of the Dinosaurs" exhibit will be open with around 60 life-sized animatronic creatures through Aug. 10.

Zoo officials said there are 25 new animatronics that debuted this year.

“They’re back and bigger than ever," Executive Director of Roger Williams Park Zoo Stacey Johnson said. "Some of your old favorites, and some that we never even have heard of before. It’s exciting and genuinely immersive. You're going to see, you're going to smell, you’re going to hear."

Johnson said the exhibit has a storyline and said visitors should pay attention to detail.

The exhibit is not included with the zoo admission.

Officials said general admission is $9 and $7 for RWPZoo members.

More about the exhibit can be found on the RWPZoo website.
