BUT PEOPLE IN EVERY CITY BETWEEN BRICKTOWN ALL THE WAY DOWN TO STILLWATER, VISITING BREWERIES, RESTAURANTS, OF COURSE, THE BRICKTOWN CANAL, REALLY EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE AS THEY GET READY TO HEAD TO STILLWATER FOR THE BIGGEST EVENT THAT TOWN HAS EVER HOSTED. WE’RE GOING TO GET PEOPLE ALL WEEKEND LONG. THEY’RE WEARING THEIR SHIRTS ALREADY. THE CROSS CANADIAN RAGWEED SHIRTS, AND CODY CANADA SHIRTS, AND BOYS FROM OKLAHOMA SHIRTS. SO YEAH, I GUESS WE’RE TURNING ORANGE THIS THIS WEEKEND FROM BRICKTOWN. IT’S KIND OF WHAT WE WHAT WE WHAT WE’RE BUILT FOR TO BOONE PICKENS I’VE SEEN CARS FROM PENNSYLVANIA, TEXAS, NEW MEXICO, KANSAS, TENNESSEE. SO THEY’RE COMING FROM ALL OVER. TOURISTS FROM ALL OVER THE NATION ARE FLOODING IN TO SEE THE BOYS FROM OKLAHOMA FILLING UP THE HOTELS AND ALL THE RESTAURANTS AND BARS AND CLUBS. IT’S SOMETHING FOR PEOPLE TO TO STAY AND DO, AND THEN THEY COMMUTE, YOU KNOW, BACK AND FORTH. CRYSTAL AND COREY ARE FROM HOUSTON TOURING OKC BEFORE HITTING THE ROAD FOR THE TOUR. THEY SAY THEY’VE BEEN READY FOR SINCE THE DAY IT WAS ANNOUNCED. AS SOON AS TONY DROPPED THE HINT OR HE PUT SOMETHING ON INSTAGRAM OR FACEBOOK AND SAID, HEY, WE’RE PUTTING THIS CONCERT TOGETHER. I WAS LIKE, WHAT? YEAH. BYE BYE BYE. AND AS THEY WALK AROUND BRICKTOWN, SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE, SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE ALSO WEARING SHIRTS AND EVERYTHING, THEY SAY, THERE’S EXCITEMENT ON EVERY CORNER FROM THE HEART OF THE CITY TO THE HEART OF COWBOY COUNTRY. THE MUSIC, OF COURSE, BUT THEN ALSO LIKE THE CAMARADERIE OF ALL THE FANS, EVERYBODY’S SO EXCITED. FIRST CONCERT IS UNDERWAY AT BOONE PICKENS RIGHT NOW, AND THERE’S MORE ALL THE WAY THROUGH SUNDAY. In Oklahoma City’s Bricktown, people from all across the country are in town for the concerts.While the stage is set 66 miles away, Bricktown and other cities between Oklahoma City and Stillwater have been full of fans visiting local breweries and restaurants and getting ready to head north for the biggest event Stillwater has ever hosted."We’re gonna get people all weekend long. They’re wearing their shirts already, the Cross Canadian Ragweed shirts, Cody Canada shirts, Boys from Oklahoma shirts, so yeah, I guess we’re turning orange this weekend," said Brent Brewer, president of Bricktown Real Estate. "This is kind of what we’re built for."From Bricktown to Boone Pickens Stadium, tourists from all over the nation are flooding in to see the Boys from Oklahoma."I’ve seen cars from Pennsylvania, Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Tennessee, they’re coming from all over," Brewer said. "Filling up the hotels, and all the restaurants, bars and clubs, something for people to stay and do then they can commute back and forth."Crystal Skipworth and Corey Meredith are from Houston, touring before hitting the road for the tour they say they’ve been ready for since the day it was announced."As soon as Cody dropped the hint, he put something on Instagram or Facebook and said, 'Hey, we’re putting this concert together,' I was like what? Buy, buy, buy!" Stillwater, where the concerts will be held, isn’t the only town benefitting from the long-awaited Cross Canadian Ragweed reunion shows. In Oklahoma City’s Bricktown, people from all across the country are in town for the concerts.
While the stage is set 66 miles away, Bricktown and other cities between Oklahoma City and Stillwater have been full of fans visiting local breweries and restaurants and getting ready to head north for the biggest event Stillwater has ever hosted.
