A character that first appeared on The Simpsons during its first season in 1989 will now be voiced by a new actor.
Corky Jimmy ‘Jimbo’ Jones, also known as James, Jamesbo, and Hector Gutierrez, is a student and at Springfield Elementary.
He was initially introduced as a bully of Bart’s in the episode The Telltale Head, being second in command to Nelson.
The character was first played by Tress MacNeille in six episodes, before Pamela Hayden took over in season 2.
She went on to voice him for 35 years however last year announced her retirement from the show.
It’s now been revealed who is stepping into Jimbo’s shoes, with the sixth-grade bully to now be played by comedian Mo Collins.

Collins will make her debut as the character on this week’s episode P.S. I Hate You, which airs on Sunday, April 13.
Collins, 59, is best known for her work on MadTV, where she appeared in more than 150 episodes across six seasons.
From 1998 until 2016, she played characters including Doreen and Lorraine Swanson, and also performed impressions of celebrities like Courteney Cox, Hillary Clinton, Madonna, and Paris Hilton.
She is also known for playing newscaster Joan Callamezzo on Parks and Recreation for six seasons and Sarah Rabinowitz on Fear the Walking Dead.

Over the years Collins has also appeared on shows including Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Modern Family, Night Court, and Grey’s Anatomy, with previous voice acting on shows like King of the Hill, F Is for Family, Family Guy, Invader Zim, and American Dad.
Sharing the news of her casting on social media, Mo wrote on Instagram: ‘Some exciting news I’ve been waiting to share! I will be taking over as the voice of Jimbo Jones on the Simpsons! Big shoes to fill. Pamela Hayden has retired, and now remains a legend! Well earned!
‘Getting that first script and seeing my name on it? Cool!! Stepping into that massive studio? Cool!! Hearing my voice to the animatics?!! So cool!! Huge thanks to the producers of the show, especially Mike Price, whom I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with on F is For Family, and (currently) Lil Kev (watch it! It’s soo good! BET+) This is RAD!!!
‘My first episode airs Sunday (gulp!!) I’m so happy to share this news with you!’

In November last year Pamela, 71, announced she was leaving the show after appearing in more than 700 episodes.

‘The time has come for me to hang up my microphone, but how do I say goodbye to The Simpsons?……not easily,’ she shared in a statement.
‘It’s been an honour and a joy to have worked on such a funny, witty, and groundbreaking show, and to give voice to Milhouse (and Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Janey, Malibu Stacy, and many others).’
