90 Day Fiance’s Jasmine Shares Photo in Underwear at 2 Days Postpartum: ‘I’m More Than My Body’
90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda shared a photo that was taken two days after she gave birth to her daughter, Matilda, to share insight into her postpartum journey.
“I’m more than my body. I’m strong. I’m a mother,” Jasmine, 38, captioned the mirror selfie on Thursday, April 10, which showed her posing in a bra and postpartum underwear. “Taken at 2 days postpartum.”
Jasmine shared the photo just one day after she announced that she gave birth to baby No. 3, her first with boyfriend Matt “Matei” Branistareanu, on Wednesday, April 9. “Introducing Matty, our sweet baby girl! She’s already filling our hearts with so much love and joy,” the couple told People in a joint statement. “We’re beyond grateful for this new chapter in our lives.”
In addition to Matty, Jasmine is already the mother to sons Juance and JC from a past relationship.
While Matty’s exact birth date has not yet been revealed, Jasmine hinted that she and Matt waited to announce the birth until a few weeks after her delivery. The Panama native shared an Instagram post from 90 Day Fiancé blogger Alexa Pomegranate on April 10, which stated that Matty was born “three weeks earlier.”
“Three weeks earlier, Ms. Lucie, the midwife called me at 4 a.m. and said, ‘I need you here, NOW!!!’ I jumped out of bed, threw on my scrubs, and ran out the door. She called again — ‘Bring your camera!’ I ran back in to grab it,” photographer Sara Hunter, who documented Jasmine’s birth experience, wrote via Instagram on April 9, which was later edited and shared by fan page @90dayfiance_Alexa.
“When I got to the birth center, I met Jasmine in active labor. Less than an hour later, sweet baby Matilda made her grand entrance. Jasmine and Matt are two of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet, and it was such a blessing to document their beautiful birth story,” Sara continued. “When I got to the birth center, I met Jasmine in active labor. While Jasmine only reshared the post and didn’t add any additional details, many fans were convinced that she gave birth three weeks before announcing Matty’s arrival.
Jasmine announced her pregnancy in February as fans were watching her and her husband, Gino Palazzolo, attempt to work through their issues during season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort. After Jasmine admitted to being unsatisfied with their sex life, she conceived Gino, 56, to begin an open relationship so that she could also date Matt.
After her pregnancy was revealed, Gino confirmed that he and Jasmine were no longer together during the tell-all on March 31. “Normally I come in here and I have good news for you, but today I don’t. Because Jasmine and I, we separated,” the Michigan native said about their relationship status.
