The Late Late Show, a staple of RTÉ's Friday night line-up, won't be gracing our screens next week due to a schedule reshuffle.

The popular chat show, helmed by Patrick Kielty, usually lights up our living rooms every Friday at 9.35pm.

However, next week will see a break in transmission as host Patrick takes some time off to coincide with the Easter Holidays.

As Good Friday falls on April 18, RTÉ One is making slight adjustments to its schedule. But fear not, the show will bounce back the following week, April 25, in its usual slot.

In place of the Late Late, viewers can enjoy the sports drama movie, Air, featuring Matt Damon and Viola Davis, in the 9.35pm slot, reports RSVP Live.

If that doesn't tickle your fancy, RTÉ 2 is airing the comedy drama The Last Right, starring Michiel Huisman as Daniel Murphy, a man tasked with handling the corpse of a stranger.

Over on Virgin Media One, Celebrity Big Brother fans can get their fix with all the latest happenings from Britain's most famous house, as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best bid farewell to another housemate.

On Friday night's Late Late Show, Patrick engaged in an in-depth conversation with Amanda Knox about her journey to rebuild her life and reclaim her name a decade after being fully exonerated for the murder of her flatmate Meredith Kercher.

Professional dancer and TV personality Bruno Tonioli also joined Patrick to discuss his career as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars USA and Britain's Got Talent, as well as reminiscing about his enduring friendship with the late Len Goodwin.

Legendary Irish footballers Johnny Giles and Liam Brady discussed their illustrious careers, while comedian and presenter Dermot Whelan chatted about his new book, Busy and Wrecked.

In anticipation of their sold-out concerts across Ireland this summer, Amble gave a performance of their brand new single Swan Song.
