A HOTEL and pub in Wrexham is set to host a mini-festival over the bank holiday weekend in May. 

The Savvy Fox pub, located at Hotel Wrexham on Holt Road is putting together a two day festival next month. 

The event will take place on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, with a host of activities and entertainment lined up. 

There is set to be all sorts of activities to keep everyone entertained including fairground rides, bouncy castles, face painting and sandpits. 

There will be a BBQ on site, as well as a Wrexham Lager stand attending, there is also the option of dining at the Savvy Fox.

In addition, there will be several live music acts across both days, with more to be announced.

On Saturday, May 24: 

  • The Old Time Sailors (7 PM) - A 20-piece immersive sea shanty band known for transforming audiences into fellow seafarers through powerful storytelling, music, and period costume. They’ve played major festivals across Europe, including Glastonbury, and are widely regarded as a must-see live act.
  • Amasing (2:30 PM) - A unique and uplifting choir project involving young people and schools, offering a moving community performance. As seen on Britains got Talent.
  • Danny Gruff (3 PM) - A beloved local singer-songwriter known for acoustic covers and original songs with warmth and humour.
  • Sophie Roxanne (4 PM) - Ex Voice contestant and local Wrexham talent
  • June Holland (5 PM) - A versatile solo artist performing classic pop and vintage covers.

Sunday, May 25:

  • Dyna and the Dominoes – Mamma Mia Tribute (8 PM) - A full-on celebration of ABBA's greatest hits, delivered with flair and high-energy vocals from seasoned tribute performers.
  • The Voke (3:30 PM) - Indie-pop band bringing catchy hooks and upbeat originals.
  • Stephen Lockhart & Danny Sergiou (5:30 PM) - A versatile musical duo with a mix of covers and original tracks.
  • Aiden Grimshaw (6:45 PM) - Best known for his breakthrough on The X Factor (2010), Aiden reached the live finals and has since released critically praised solo work. His debut album Misty Eye charted in the UK Top 20, and he's currently working on new material, blending powerful vocals with electronic and alternative pop influences.
