      Hey y'all, an active stretch of weather begins on Wednesday with 5 1st of the weather impact days stretching into Eastern weekend. I think it's important to note that it won't rain continuously on each day. More intermittent downpours and thunderstorms. Not all thunderstorms will produce severe weather, but some could produce large hail and damaging wind, especially on Thursday and Friday. Let's dive into it. Thursday is going to be *** very warm day. *** warm front is going to lift north of Kansas City that'll allow temperatures to surge into the 80s and also allow the environment to moisten as *** warm front lifts north up into Iowa. Thunderstorms most likely will develop along this warm front across northern Missouri, Southern Illinois, Thursday evening and Thursday night. The ingredients are in place for *** few thunderstorms that may produce large. Hail and damaging wind on Friday, *** cold front will sweep through that will push the more favorable and ingredients for severe weather east of Kansas City across central and eastern Missouri. Again, large hail and damaging wind, the most likely threat with the strongest storms. The areas at risk of severe thunderstorms may change in future updates which could result in the risk increasing or decreasing in your community.
