A new initiative aims to improve skills and education in the south.

The Upskill Network, an alliance of training providers and firms, has been formed to tackle skills shortages and increase access to quality training in Hampshire.

The founding members include Kiwi & Yuzu Ltd, Sert Group, and Testlands Wellbeing Hub.

The network will focus on creating new training programmes that match industry demands.

It will also provide support for people looking to upskill, reskill, or switch careers.

Michael Steel, managing director at Kiwi & Yuzu Ltd, said: "The Upskill Network represents a bold step forward in addressing the skills challenges facing our region.

"By coming together, we can create opportunities that not only benefit individuals but also empower businesses to thrive in a competitive economy."

The group is inviting businesses, organisations, and individuals to join the initiative.
