Jena Sims Reveals Why She and Brooks Koepka Turned Down This Netflix Reality Show 'Like 30 Times'

Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims prefer to keep their private lives private.

Sims, 36, revealed during an appearance on Brie and Nikki Garcia's SiriusXM podcast The Nikki & Brie Show, in a special "Live from the Masters" epsiode, that she and Koepka, 34, have turned down offers to participate in reality television.

Sims was asked specifically about appearing on Netflix's popular series Full Swing, which follows top golfers and their families as they compete. "We've said, 'No,' like 30 times," Sims shared.

The Sports Illustrated Swim model said the offer included a promise from Netflix that the couple would have "all the creative control" over how they're depicted, but she said, "I'm like, 'No, we're not doing that.'"

Sims explained that she thinks cameras following them in their personal lives would be a detriment to their relationship. “I don’t think it’s good for relationships, and Brooks finds it dangerous when people can see sort of the layout of the inside of your home even," she shared.

"We’re big on safety and he’s really big on privacy," said Sims, who explained that while she has years of experience in front of cameras, she deferred to Koepka.

"There's enough cameras in Brooks' face. We don't need another one," joked Sims.

Sims and Kopeka met at the Masters in 2015, she told Golf Digest three years later. "We were on hole 7, which I don't even remember, but he's like, 'Oh, I remember what you were wearing, where we were standing, everything.' It was cool … We were just friends at that point."

They tied the knot on June 4, 2022, in Turks and Caicos. Sims wore a sparkling, jewel-encrusted white gown with a high slit and a flowing train. She later changed into a short feathered number for dancing.

The couple welcomed their son, Crew Sims Koepka, on July 27, 2023 — six weeks early and just two days before the philanthropist was slated to have her baby shower.

"Crew Sims Koepka was ready for the world because he decided to break my water just 2 minutes after Brooks walked inside the house from the gym on Thursday, July 27th at 5:50 pm. 6 weeks ahead of my due date. Already showing who's boss," Sims wrote on Instagram in a post announcing his birth.

During her appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, Sims said she would "love" to have another baby with Koepka in the future.
