Stacey Solomon is rumoured to be in the running for a spot on Strictly Come Dancing. The 35 year old presenter is reportedly a top choice for BBC chiefs for the upcoming series of the popular dance show.
Following her previous expressions of affection for Strictly, where she confessed to being "obsessed" with it, Stacey could be set to dazzle on the dance floor. Despite admitting in 2022 that she has "two left feet" and considers herself a terrible dancer, her enthusiasm for the programme remains undimmed.
At the time, she said: "I would never say never but I am a terrible dancer, an absolutely terrible dancer." She also said: "I don't know why but I have no rhythm when it comes to movement. I have rhythm with singing or listening to music but when it comes to moving my feet I am left-footed, I have two left feet!".
Her fascination with the show extends to its glittering costumes, although she humorously suggested that if she competed, she might be eliminated early, saying: "I'd be one of those people who would go out in week one and they'd be like: 'Well that was a waste of time! ,", reports the Mirror.

According to a source speaking to The Sun, Stacey's endearing personality makes her a favourite among viewers, and the BBC is keen to feature their own stars on Strictly. Her programme has already earned them a National Television Award (NTA). The source added: "Fans will also love watching her husband Joe Swash in the audience cheering her on every week."
Reality TV star Stacey Solomon, known for her appearances on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here and The X Factor, features in the fly-on-the-wall series 'Stacey and Joe' alongside her partner, former EastEnders actor Joe Swash.
In a heart-wrenching episode, viewers saw an emotional side of Joe as he shared his struggles with ADHD. Stacey was there to support him throughout, while also getting into the festive spirit, prepping spooky crafts for Halloween.
The cameras followed Joe to a glamping expo where the financial challenges of his dream to build a fishing lake became evident. It was during this time that Joe opened up about his past, disclosing how being undiagnosed with ADHD and slightly dyslexic led to misunderstandings in his childhood: "Being a kid, I don't think ADHD back then was even recognised, so I had ADHD and a touch of dyslexia, so I really got tarred with the brush of being a naughty kid," he confessed.
Further illustrating his coping mechanisms, Joe added, "I feel like I sort of invented this character to sort of protect myself a little bit, just making people laugh." Also featured in the episode was Joe's visit to a psychiatrist to seek advice on managing his ADHD while balancing a demanding career. Post-consultation, viewers saw him contemplate revisiting medication.
The episode concluded with Joe returning to their home, Pickle Cottage, where he engaged in a candid conversation with Stacey about his condition and its impact on his life. In a candid admission, he shared: "It's opened up a box of worms for me, where it goes a little bit deeper than I thought it was going to."
