Katie Holmes rocked curly hair at a party on Tuesday, May 6, to celebrate the upcoming second season of Peacock's Poker Face.
Her tousled ash brown waves were paired with a unique blue and white floral pantsuit. Holmes accessorized the look with brown suede kitten heels and a brown suede fringe bag.
She shared an Instagram post of the look before heading to the party, writing, "thank you @nlyonne for having me for season 2! Thank you @briesarawelch for styling this look! Thank u @djquintero and @genevieveherr for getting me ready♥️." Brie Welch is Holmes' longtime stylist, who also notably dressed the Dawson's Creek alum for the 2023 cover of Glamour.
Holmes joins a star-studded season 2 cast of Poker Face, a character-driven murder-mystery show starring five-time Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, a runaway casino worker with a knack for sniffing out liars and solving murders. The show follows a case-of-the-week format, allowing for a sprawling ensemble cast.
Also joining season 2 of the show are Cynthia Erivo, Awkwafina, John Mulaney, and more. Series creator, writer, director, and producer Rian Johnson said in a statement from Peacock, "From minor league baseball to big box retail, from funeral homes to alligator farms and even a grade school talent show, Charlie navigates her crime solving existential road-trip with deadpan wit, human empathy, and her signature uncanny lie-detecting ability."
Johnson elaborated on what viewers can expect from season 2. "To bring Season 2 to life, we pulled visual inspiration from American ‘70s cinema, all the stuff we love like Robert Altman, Bob Rafelson, Peter Bogdanovich. But the backbone of this show is TV — the kind of TV we grew up watching, episodic case of the week gems like Columbo and The Rockford Files and Quantum Leap," he said.

Holmes most recently appeared in Rare Objects in 2023. She first rose to fame for her performance as Joey Potter on the hit WB coming-of-age drama Dawson's Creek, which ran from 1998 to 2003. She has since appeared in several successful films, including Batman Begins and Miss Meadows.
Holmes' role on the show is still under wraps. Season 2 of Poker Face premieres on Peacock on Thursday, May 8.
