The will of Carry On legend Julian Holloway, who passed away at the age of 80 in February, reveals that he left £25,000 to his daughter, model Sophie Dahl. The actor's estate was worth nearly half a million pounds, but the majority was bequeathed to his stepson Joel Gregory.
Before final expenses were deducted, Holloway's fortune stood at £493,917, which subsequently reduced to a net value of £480,891. His ashes, as per his last wishes, are to be scattered at either Lord's Cricket Ground or Sudbrooke Park Golf Club.
Besides leaving £25,000 each to his daughter and stepdaughter Kate Gregory, it was Joel who received most of Holloway's wealth and was also appointed the executor of his estate. Residing in Poole, Dorset, before his demise, Holloway was famed for starring in iconic films such as Carry On Doctor and Carry On Camping.
Sophie Dahl is not only a celebrated model and author but also the granddaughter of beloved children's author Roald Dahl; she was born to Holloway and British actress Tessa Dahl in 1977, according to Devon Live. At the time of Holloway's death, actress Sarah Douglas paid tribute, expressing her grief: "I lost a dear friend yesterday and I'm so, so sad. I have known Julian Holloway since the early 70's and he has been the best of friends to me all these years."

Tributes are pouring in for the renowned actor Julian Holloway, remembered for his iconic Carry On films as well as countless other television and film appearances. The celebrated actor, born in Oxfordshire in 1944 to parents who were also in show business, left his mark in series such as The Sweeney, Doctor Who, and Beverly Hills 90210, reports the Mirror.
"Julian was the wittiest of men and we would laugh and laugh. He was a friend through thick and thin, first in London then LA then back home again. He was also the associate producer of The Brute (1977) but I had first met him professionally in 1973 on a BBC drama called 'Secrets'. There will be lots written about him and all his wonderful work but right now he is just a dear and sorely missed friend."
Throughout his remarkable career, he appeared in numerous cult classics like Minder, The Professionals, and Z Cars, as well as providing voiceovers for animations and video games including Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. In his personal life, he was married twice, first to actress Zena Walker and later to Debbie Wheeler.
