ITV Emmerdale fans notice major 'mistake' after Joe Tate fall
Viewers were left confused after noticing the error
Emmerdale fans were quick to notice a mistake after Joe Tate suspiciously fell from the window at Home Farm on Thursday. The accident has led to a huge 'whodunnit' twist, as Joe, played by Ned Porteous, was rushed to hospital and is currently fighting for his life.
The villagers gathered at Home Farm for a surprise party for Lydia's birthday. But things soon took a dark turn when Noah went outside to find his half-brother Joe on the floor covered in glass.
However, viewers were confused about the way Joe had fallen out of the window. They continued to question how he was lying on the ground facing the house, if he had supposedly been pushed forwards out of the window.
Taking to social media, one fan asked: "When Joe was pushed how did he end up facing the window - either way his head would be facing into the drive surely?"
More added to the conversation on X to agree: "Whoever threw Joe out of the window, must have thrown him feet first, judging by how he fell facing the house" and "How did Joe fall head first out of a window then land facing the wrong way up?"
A fourth viewer wrote: "Still don't get how Mr Dubai landed facing towards the house? Did someone pick him up and throw him out of the window?"
Kim soon phoned for an ambulance and Joe was transported to hospital. It was later revealed he had a fractured pelvis, as well as a bleed on the brain and he was put into a coma.
Joe returned to the village with chronic kidney disease at the end of last year and was determined to do anything it took to seek a kidney transplant in secret.
He had targeted his nearest and dearest, initially drugging his half-brother Noah Dingle, which led to a fatal limo accident that claimed the lives of Amy Barton, Leyla Harding, and Suzy Merton.
He also planned a stabbing to steal his uncle Caleb's kidney. If that wasn't enough, he is also responsible for destroying Dawn and Billy's marriage due to their affair.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Joe has created a huge list of enemies. Members of the village started to place their guesses on who was responsible for the incident.
Fans compared the episode to an Agatha Christie, as the suspects include Billy Fletcher, Dawn Fletcher, Kerry Wyatt, Noah Dingle, Charity Dingle, Manpreet Sharma and Caleb and Ruby Fox-Miligan.
The police arrived to say they were planning an investigation into attempted murder. The officer told the group: "If Mr Tate dies the charge becomes murder, and the punishment more severe."
