British television's most glittering event of the year returned to the nation's screens with the 2025 BAFTA awards on Sunday.
Leading the pack in terms of nominations was Netflix drama Baby Reindeer with eight nods for honours including the limited drama category while Richard Gadd was up for best actor.
ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Disney hit Rivals and Apple TV thriller Slow Horses each received six nominations.
And while ITV's Mr. Bates vs The Post Office walked away with two gongs the BBC swept the board following a year of triumphant programming, winning in 17 categories.
Elsewhere, Netflix smash Baby Reindeer and the climactic Gavin & Stacey Christmas special also winning key awards.
The ceremony at London's Royal Festival Hall saw Scottish actor Alan Cumming debut as host after comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett fronted the awards last year.

Danny Dyer makes an expletive-laden speech
The 2025 BAFTA TV Awards saw several hilarious and emotional moments during the BBC broadcast.
However, there was plenty that happened at the glitzy ceremony at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall that viewers didn't get to see.
Among them, was Danny Dyer forcing the BBC to do some quick editing, after he let slip several swear words during his acceptance speech for best Male Performance in a Comedy.
In typical form for the outspoken star, he gave a expletive-laden speech, getting emotional, he let slip his first curse, saying: 'I want to thank Sky for giving our show a shot. F***ing hell, I'm choked up.'
He finished by addressing his two daughters Dani, 28, and Sunnie, 18, who were sat in the audience and took the opportunity to swear one last time to laughter from the audience.
Danny said: 'Girls, Sunnie and Dani. I've done it girls, I've f***ing done it!'
However, the BBC were less than impressed by the star breaking the watershed, with host Alan Cummings being forced to issue an apology.
Ruth Jones fights teases new project with James Corden
Ruth Jones fought back tears as she was awarded Best Actress for the British Academy Television Awards for her role in the Gavin and Stacey.
As she gracefully accepted her gong - in the voice of the iconic character - she revealed she wasn't expecting the award before hinting at other writing projects with her co-star.
Ruth, who was the epitome of elegance in an electric blue gown, gushed over their joint industry talent.
Accepting the award, she said: 'I really wasn't expecting this, so I wanted to thank the wonderful cast.
'Huge thank you to the BBC, such a fantastic institution which I am so proud to have worked with so many times.
'The person I would like to thank most is my dear dear kind talented funny friend, James Corden, with whom I have shared this astonishing journey for the 17 years and without whom Vanessa Shanessa Jenson would not have existed.
'I love you James, I love writing with you, long may it continue.'
Joe Lycett beats Ant and Dec
The Bafta for Entertainment Performance was awarded to comedian and actor Joe Lycett for his Channel 4 comedy programme Late Night Lycett.
He 'could not make' the ceremony, according to presenter Greg Davies, who joked he would be keeping the gong.
Birmingham comedian Joe beat Geordie duo Anthony McPartlin, and Declan Donnelly for their Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, which is on pause, and Claudia Winkleman for BBC hit The Traitors among others.

The actor, 54, was up for a Supporting Actor nod for his role as King Henry VIII in BBC's Wolf Hall - a mini-series that tells the story of Thomas Cromwell- but missed out.
He looked handsome for the glitzy event as he arrived in a black two-piece suit which he layered over a crisp white shirt and a thin black tie.
Damian was supported by his two children Manon, 18, and Gulliver, 17, who appeared proud of their father.
Manon looked chic in a black halter neck dress which she paired with suede black court heels and a sparkly gold bag.
Gulliver looked the spitting image of his father as he also stepped out in a tailored black two-piece suit and a white shirt.

The comedian made history as the show's first ever blind contestant, going on to take home the glitterball trophy.
The memorable moment Bafta, which was voted for by the public, was awarded for the winning couple's 'blackout' dance.
The routine saw Chris place his hands over Buswell's eyes as the room faded to black, mimicking his everyday experience.
BBC claims another award
The BBC claimed another gong courtesy of BBC Breakfast, with the morning show winning its first ever TV BAFTA for their Post Office Special.
Echoing the sentiments of producer Patrick Spencer, the show's resident producer said: 'This award is for those nije brave postmasters who sat on our sofa.
'They bravely told their stories and they were just a fraction of those who were let down in that terrible scandal.
'We will continue to tell your story until you get justice.'
Danny Dyer surprises fans as he wins Male Performance in a Comedy
Danny Dyer served up an early surprise by winning Male Performance in a Comedy for his starring role in Sky Comedy show Mr. Bigstuff.
Evidently delighted, Dyer credited his family - among them Love Island star daughter Dani - in a profanity-laden acceptance speech that broke ITV's strict watershed.
'What a touch!' he told the audience. 'The acting was so bad it was funny. F***ing hell. Girls, Donny and Dani... I've done it girls, I've f***ing done it.'
Returning to the stage as Dyer made his exit, ceremony host Alan Cumming told the audience: 'I've been asked to apologise for the naughty language there.'

Meanwhile Joanna, 48, looked ravishing in a plunging baby blue frock with gold details, which she dressed up with clasy open-toe heels.

Mr. Bates vs The Post Office wins Limited Drama
Widely expected to claim much of Sunday evening's spotlight, groundbreaking ITV drama Mr. Bates vs The Post Office got off to an auspicious start by claiming the award for Limited Drama.
Accepting the gong from Russell Tovey and Daniel Mays, producer Patrick Spencer said: 'We could only film this because Polly Hill at ITV saved us from getting cancelled and this story only had the impact it did because the people who watched it stood up as one and demanded action with such rage, that the government had no choice but to respond.
'Our show didn't change the law, the people of this nation did. They showed in their response to Mr. Bates vs The Post Office that our country cannot abide liars and bullies.'
He added: 'May it be a warning to those who are supposed to have our backs, that they better not abuse their power.
'When accepting this award, we would like to go on record that being trusted by the post-masters to tell their story has been the greatest privilege of our lives.'
