POLICE have launched an appeal to speak to a woman after a child was knocked off their bike and hurt by an off-lead dog in Southend.
Officers want to speak to the woman pictured in connection with the incident involving a dog and a child in Priory Park.
It was reported the child was knocked off their bike and hurt after the dog, off its lead, ran towards him and jumped up at him.
It happened in the popular park at around 4.30pm on March 3.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Enquiries have been taking place since it was reported to us and we are now in a position to release a photo of a woman we want to speak to.
"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote the crime reference number 42/32685/25."
