On Monday, The Meta CEO announced plans to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on massive new data centers to power AI that surpasses human intelligence Or “superintelligence.”
The first site called Prometheus is expected to go live next year.
Meta recently launched superintelligence labs to unify its AI efforts, following setbacks with its Llama 4 model and key staff exits.
Zuckerberg says strong ad revenue will fund the long-term AI push.
