Indiana ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins wigs out for ‘Lip Sync Battle’ appearance

Chrissy Teigen, LL Cool J, Rachel Lindsay and Ben Higgins are seen on the set of “Lip Sync Battle.”

If you're going to pay tribute to an '80s hair band, it's a decent idea to look the part.

That seems to be the strategy of Ben Higgins — the Warsaw, Ind., software salesman and star of the 20th season of "The Bachelor" — on the episode of "Lip Sync Battle" scheduled to air tonight.

Higgins wears a voluminous wig while lip-syncing to Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name" on the Paramount Network show co-hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen.

Which isn't to say it's a good look.

"I thought you were handsome with short hair," Teigen says to Higgins in a video clip promoting the episode. "And then I was like, 'Wow, he's really handsome with short hair.' "

Higgins competes against Season 13 "Bachelorette" Rachel Lindsay on the "Lip Sync Battle" episode that airs at 10:30 tonight.

Lindsay's song of choice is Salt 'n Pepa's "Shoop."

Other "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alumni with Indiana ties include Arie Luyendyk Jr. (former IndyCar driver and Season 22 "Bachelor"), Lauren Griffin (a Ben Davis High School alum who competed on "The Bachelor" Season 20 and 2018's "The Bachelor Winter Games") and Brian Winchester (a New Castle resident who competed on "The Bachelorette" Season 4).
